Pablo
Picasso was born in Malaga on the 25th of October
1881 and he lived here for ten years.
After, he moved with his family to La Coruña, spending
time in Barcelona and Paris. During his life, Picasso
would sporadically visit Malaga, the light and the beauty
of his hometown fascinated him, but the political situation
during those years would not allow him to reside in Malaga.
He always had the desire to have in Malaga a museum with
all his works, a desire that came true in October 2003.
This museum hosts more than 200 of his works, this way
Malaga becomes one of the points of reference of the art
world, thanks to one of the most creative and avant-garde
artists of the XX century.
